Guided Fishing in the Smoky Mountains

Although you can still trout fish during the winter months, the cold waters are for those serious fishermen who can brave the cooler temperatures. You will find uncrowded, pristine creeks and eager, undisturbed fish.

However, if you still want to go fishing, and wading the cold waters is not what you have in mind, you can fish Fontana Lake for Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass and Walleye.

Bluegill, Crappie, and Walleye are great summer months fishing excursions.

On day trips, you can enjoy a "shore lunch" which may include catch-of-the-day, fried potatoes, hush puppies and beverages. Imagine the thrill of eating the fish you caught in the open outdoors after a morning of fishing in the cool mountain waters of North Carolina. It is definitely an experience of a lifetime for young and old alike.
